About us
Are you insured for your work?
Yes, we have public liability insurance and are more than happy to provide you a copy of our certificate prior to commencing work.
Our prices
Do you offer credit or financing options?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer any credit or financing options at the moment. This is something we hope to offer in the future.
How long do I have to accept your quote?
Our Flat Quote’s are valid for an entire year, whilst our Select Quote’s are valid for 3 months. After these times, you will need to request a new quote.
Do I enter into a contract once I accept your quote?
Yes, once you accept our quote, we sign a contract which amongst other things, details the work which we have agreed to complete based on our quote, the dates for when we must receive payment from you and when we expect to complete your project.
When do I pay for the work you undertake?
For all small design projects, we request payment upfront prior to drawing any designs and plans. For larger design projects, we request interim payments at pre-determined milestones once we complete key elements of the design.
For all home improvement and new home building work, we spread the price of the project across it’s duration. Part of our contract with you specifies the precise dates by when we need to receive payment from you.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Most of our transactions are in the form of Standing Orders which are set-up at the commencement of your project. We also send you interim bills to notify you of the due payment and for you to keep as a form of record. For significantly smaller projects where a Standing Order is impractical, we accept BACS, Card and Cash payments.

Can I use you to design my space, but ask another builder to procure the building works?
Of course you can, our design and home improvement or new build services can be used in isolation. However, without wanting to sound biased, we do recommend using us for the building stage as well. Having created the design, we have a vast amount more knowledge from day one of the build than any other builder. This means that we can quantify the risks and required work much more precisely into a fixed quote and not have to ask you for money money at a later stage because we ‘forgot’ to include a part of the design. The fact that we can visualise the end result much better, also vastly increases the chances of the design being built in the manner that you intend.
Will you start any building work before the design is fully complete?
In most circumstances we will not begin any building work until the design is complete. However, where only minor details are outstanding and they are up to you to decide upon, we are happy to commence the building work and define the final parts of the design further down the line. The decision is always yours whether to start the building work prior to fully completing a design.
Our building work
Can you arrange my planning application?
Yes, this falls under our Design service.
What happens if I change my mind about an element of the design once the building work has started?
We will document the change and provide you with the cost and time impact (if any) for carrying out the change. Whilst some changes result in an increase in cost, others can result in a decrease from the original quote. You will then have to decide whether to proceed with the change by signing a ‘Change Request Form’, or decline the change.
What happens if there is an emergency connected with the building work in the middle of the night?
You will receive an after-hours phone number at the commencement of your project. This number should be called in the event of any emergency which is in connection of the building work at your home address.
I have had incompetent and unfriendly tradesmen in my home before. Can you tell me about whom you plan to have in my home?
All of our people are selected for their competence, skill and friendly attitudes. We have many drivers in place to encourage high standards of workmanship and spirit, including asking you for feedback on how our people performed throughout the duration of the project.
What happens once you complete a project, I pay you, and a couple of days later I find a defect with the building work?
We set very high standards for ourselves to as much as possible, reduce the risk of defects from appearing at the end of each project. However, should you find an issue after we have left, we will of course return to put it right. Throughout each project, we also make sure that you are comfortable in the knowledge that all of the work will be completed to your expectations by asking you to retain a portion of every invoice and only pay us this sum after we have completed the work, including any defects you may locate after we have left the site.
